Welcome to Stamford Baptist Church AWANA Clubs. We are sure that our AWANA club will be a place of learning and excitement that will have a positive influence on your child. AWANA is based on the scripture 2 Timothy 2:15 "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth." Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed.

The AWANA program is divided into several age groups that range from three years-old  through Grade 6. A typical night is divided into three parts :

1. Handbook Time: Children meet with their Team Leader to recite Bible verses and pass their handbook sections.
2. Game Time: Children interact in team games to enjoy friendly competition, and learn the benefits of teamwork.
3. Council Time: Children meet for singing and Bible Teaching with Life Applications.

AWANA offers several opportunities for your child to grow spiritually through Scripture memorization and a basic understanding of biblical principals and doctrines.
AWANA also provides an opportunity for children to learn to compete as a team and not just as individuals. They will learn to win and lose with a proper attitude of fair play and sportsmanship. We ask for your support in encouraging your child to complete their handbook materials prior to each club week. This way we will have the time to show them how to apply what they learn to their everyday lives.

We will meet Fridays at 6:45 p.m . at the Stamford Baptist Church on 602 High Ridge Road. Children and Parents are welcome.

We welcome you back to AWANA! We started strong, please be prayerful for this ministry that families through children will be brought closer to our Lord Jesus Christ.
