Every church needs people looking after different parts of its life together, and ours is no different. Here's how our leadership works, in plain terms.
Elders lead the church's overall direction and teaching. Our elder team includes our senior pastor and two additional elders, who together set the vision for the church and make sure what we teach lines up with Scripture.
Deacons and Deaconesses care for the practical, personal needs of our church family. If someone is sick, in need, or going through a hard season, this team is often the first to step in. They also help coordinate baptisms and monthly communion.
Trustees oversee the church's finances and property, including the building, grounds, and budget. Any major decision about spending or the physical space goes through this team, with final direction from the elders.
The Coordinating Committee makes sure nothing falls through the cracks. Representatives from each of the teams above meet monthly to keep ministries and events running smoothly together.
